Easter is one of the most important festivals for Christians. It celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

It is celebrated on a Sunday. On this day, people wear new clothes and go to church. After the prayer, there are family reunions and large meals to celebrate the occasion.

Eggs are also associated with Easter since they are a symbol of rebirth. Many children participate in Easter egg hunts. They search for hidden decorated eggs with tiny candies or toys.

Easter bunnies are another favorite among children, as they get rewarded for their good deeds and they get surprise gifts from easter bunnies!

Easter symbolizes the opening of heaven with the gift of eternal life to everyone.

In India Easter is celebrated with carnivals and dancing. Oh, and another yummy sweet that is eaten is jellybean!
