After all, if a story is written for young readers, shouldnt they get to share their review of it?
So here is a ‘book review for young readers, by young readers.’

Title : One Special Day
Author : M Christina
Illustrator : Tina Macnaughton
Publisher. : Little Tiger Press
My first reaction to the cover page was that it looked pleasant with bright colours that attracted me to buy it.
My school had conducted a Parents Teachers Meeting . There was a book fair in our activity area . That is where I got the book from.
The lead characters in the book are :
Baby hedgehog – A young , smart hedgehog who is fond of his cousin, Little hedgehog .
Little hedgehog – A well- mannered , clever and a responsible child who is awfully kind and caring.
The central idea of the story is to show affection to everyone and give a helping hand when they are in need. Little Hedgehog’s cousin , Baby hedgehog, comes to stay. When they go on a day out to find bluebells, baby loses his red-dotted blanket, and the day out turns into an exclusive adventure…
It is a dramatic story with innovative words that express friendship and love . The illustrations are well designed with beautiful, light colours. The look of the book is quite fascinating , creative and peaceful.
My favourite part of the book is when they are trying to catch the blanket that is ‘floating as light as a feather in the refreshing air’
I learnt that we should hold hands together and never give up in difficult situations.
I wouldn’ t like to change anything in the book because the pace of the writing looks right with the suitable words and emotions. I rate this book with

5/5*
The best age group for reading this book is 7 – 10 because they can learn how to organize a writing using appropriate words , how and when to use emotions in their story.
*On a scale of 1-5, 5 being the highest
