Earlier I used to spend most of my time studying
But now I do what I enjoy
Sometimes I’m writing and sometimes painting,
And sometimes playing with toys.

All those who had been away from their homes, family and friends,
Were able to return, and to their boredom and loneliness find a cure,
With their family, time they could spend
And be safe, happy and secure.

The animals move about freely nowadays,
For to disturb them there is no one,
With happiness each of them plays,
And probably have lots of fun.

Earlier there were hardly any birds seen in the sky,
Now it is filled with their chirping and song,
Almost every day I see them fly,
It is a pleasure after a time so long.

Hope is still there,
Everything will be alright,
Soon people will be happy everywhere,
And the world will be good and bright.
