I Wish It Were Christmas Eve- Poem

The café is full
The streets are well lit,
The children are decorating the tree in the café
Its’ Christmas eve.

The streets are covered with snow
The night has just fallen,
The warmth of the fire is spread all over
Its’ Christmas eve.

The children are pleading their parents for gifts
The young lady is giving the beggar food,
The hawkers are selling red caps
Its’ Christmas eve.

The children are dressed as Santa
The teens are off with their friends with red hats,
The city seems red
Its’ Christmas eve.

The bells of the church are getting louder
The time is 12 o’clock,
The snow has started falling
And oh, its’ Christmas.
