Hello everyone, Sara here! Here is a beautiful poem by 9 year old Tashu Jain from Surat, on the questions he would ask a river, if he could. Read on.

‘If I could ask the river’ Poem

If river could talk,
I would ask it that,
Why can’t your water form a shape?

If river could talk,
I would ask it that,
Why are you storing so much of water in you?

If river could talk,
I would ask it that,
How can you so easily take the boat from one
place to the other?

If river could talk,
I would ask it that,
From where do you get so much of water?

To my questions the expected answer would be,
“I don’t know, I am just blessed by the Almighty.”
