Paint yourself a rainbow – Poem

I thought,

the world is sick.

Not even ephemeral joy

is found!

People go through

dark nights.

And the rainbow never

hangs right.

But no! It isn’t like that.

The simple blue sky

Gives you freedom,

As you fly among

Those clouds white.

You can drink from

The yellow daffodils.

Or tread among the

Grasses green.

So when in your life

Black surrounds,

Paint yourself a rainbow

With no bounds.
