Street Market – Shopping The Blues Away | Bookosmia
The people pushed past each other, glancing around in all directions and then making their way through the crowd that had gathered around the stall selling colourfully painted pots.
Standing far off, around a food stall, I could hear their overlapping voices, bargaining with the shopkeeper. I saw a small group of women, chattering as they examined the various glittering jewellery as the shopkeeper eagerly showed them around.
As I looked around, I noticed a group of people hurrying by and a gaggle of children standing excitedly around a comic bookstall. Flashes of vibrant colours peeked at me everywhere I looked and it seemed as though the marketplace was a canvas with splashes of paint everywhere.
