Hello, Sara here. Today is the 19th anniversary of 9/11 attacks, a solemn day for much of the world. It makes us think about how we process grief? How does a child process the loss of a loved one?

Here is a heart melting poem by 6 year old Alisa Mary Pacheco from Mumbai, dedicated to the memory of her friend Abigail, who passed away this year.

Alisa is a student of Bai Avabai Framji Petit Girls High School, Mumbai

Where are you, Abigail? Poem

Where will you be when you die?
Abby I miss you,
You miss me, up there all alone,
I am also alone.

I miss all the fun we both had.
I’ll never ever get to see you again.
We are both apart!
I don’t know when we will be together again.

I just sit at the window dreaming about you,
We could have so much fun,
Only if you didn’t die.
